About the only thing comparable to driving across Texas is driving across Ontario... both never seem to end.
Can't complain about the road however. Highway 10 is a great road to drive without a sign of potholes.
Texas does however have its share of bugs. We still have our share of "love-bugs" from the Livingston area and the bugs you see in the Texas hill country are about the size of small birds and make a large yellow splat on the windshield when they hit.
For those who are not sure what love-bugs are, they are black 1/2 to 1/4 inch in size and mate then stick together. They are often in swarms and are attracted to the color white. They stick on anything they spatter against and buggers to get off your car if left for any length of time.
Other than the bugs, everything is going great. Another 300 plus miles today and we should be in Alamogordo on Wednesday.
