Well we made it Alamogordo today just before lunch. There's lots of road construction going on in El Paso causing me to miss the turn from highway 10 to highway 54. Fortunately I was able to get to highway 54 further on but had to drive into El Paso in morning traffic.
It took us about 3 and a half days and the total distance traveled from home to the RV park was exactly 900 miles.
We got set up at Edgington RV park in Alamogordo where the owner, a real nice guy, told us that he was the first of the Escapees parks to offer Escapees members a 50% discount.
The afternoon was spent finding and driving to several places in town that Diane will need to go to where she'll meet up with people organizing her class reunion.
Stopped in at the local Walmart for supplies and then decided to have Mexican dinner at a restaurant near Walmart.
